new patients welcome
Here at Retina Associates of Western NY, we love meeting new patients. Most of the patients we see are referred from a general ophthalmologist, an optometrist, or another medical provider. However, we do accept self-referrals for those experiencing signs or symptoms of a retinal problem, or have a personal or family history of retinal disease. You may want to consider a retinal exam if you are diabetic, have a family history of macular degeneration, have high blood pressure, or are experiencing sudden visual changes. These visual changes may include a sudden decrease or loss of vision, flashes of light, an increase in floaters, or a loss of vision in some areas of the visual field. If you are unsure if your symptoms are retina related, please call our office and ask to speak with a technician.

Part of easing your concerns is explaining what you can expect from our practice. When you are new to our office, we put in the effort to provide you with a positive and comforting experience. Once you have been with us for a while, you can continue to expect the highest level of service. We focus on providing quality retinal care, excellent customer service, and a caring, compassionate environment to maintain a lasting patient relationship.
